Dictator

Part 1 ::

1991 Work in Progress
Joe Frank Monologue

The Great Drought and the havoc it induced. Only Joe survives, taken in by a friendly tribe of farmers who are eventually annihilated by cannibals. Again, Joe cheats death and finds his way to a circus, where he becomes enamored with Marta, the human pretzel. Flash forward to the war where, as the Dictator, Joe is reduced to a blubbering, anxiety ridden neurotic with multiple gastrointestinal issues. Stories follow of the unfortunate Oil Seller, the Dirt Boy who sprouted his own vegetables and became a self-sufficient eco system. Morality as a relative value is discussed.

Part 2 ::

1991 Work in Progress
Joe Frank Monologue

The despicable act of sending the most valuable resource, a nation's young men, off to war, while worthless housewives, children, and old people are free to go about their insipid lives. During a siege, cut off from the rest of civilization, the country creates six "themed cities" to give a taste of the world as it used to be. Prophets attempt to interpret General Ibrahim's dream and the gift of a Trojan Horse.

Part 3 ::

1991 Work in Progress
Joe Frank Monologue

Joe tells of his escape from the circus; this is followed by Joe's delusional wish (as the Dictator) to become God and exist for all eternity. In a state of decline and now delusional, Joe emcees his own fashion show, where he raves about fawn colored battle fatigues and polarized Rayban aviator glasses.
