Joe Frank Medical & Recovery Fund – Update 71

I walked into Joe’s room about 7:00p last Friday and my knees buckled. He was in great distress. His bed was surrounded by the Cedars crisis team who themselves seemed to be in crisis. The room was loud and chaotic. With just three hours of sleep since Thursday morning, I summoned every sliver of strength I had and made my way to him. I took his hand in one of mine, stroked his face with the other, and offered as much reassurance as I could muster despite how shocked I was internally.
