This is a pretty hysterical piece of Joe Frank autobiographical history. Or at least I assume the story recounts real-life events. You learn of Joe's appreciation of automobiles, classic and otherwise. You learn about his "detective" abilities to solve a fraud case that touches him personally. I don't want to give anything away, but the ending took me by surprise. I find myself coming back to this one now and again. I wish he did another story about this episode's anti-hero. If he did, (I never heard it.) Meandering and yet riveting, entertaining stuff here.
