Why Membership?
Over 20 years ago, we began offering Joe’s full catalogue of over 200 radio shows through this streaming subscription service. In 2004, Joe began creating shows exclusively for Members. In addition, we’ve added shows previously thought to be missing. Recently, we’ve found gems after digitizing recordings only on reel-to-reel tapes. It is only through your subscription support that we are able to continue excavating Joe Frank content.
Joe worked tirelessly creating radio programs for nearly 40 years. A perfectionist when it came to his work, he invested his own money to ensure high quality production for each show. He wrote, produced, narrated and edited the show himself; he paid actors and musicians out of his pocket. After he stopped producing for radio, he took to the stage for live readings across the country.
In Joe’s long career, he had very little administrative support. After we had gathered material for the initial phase of his web site, it became obvious that organizing his catalogue would be a years’ long effort. (And, this effort is still ongoing!)
We are a very small operation—there is no estate, investors, or private funding. So, who’s behind the web site? Joe’s wife and Logan keep the site going, along with periodic help from Brandon and other Joe Frank supporters.
We see you, who support Joe Frank’s work, as more than subscribers. You ensure that Joe’s legacy will continue.
You are all Members of this Joe Frank Team.
Thank you.
