Eve’s ‘awakening’ in the Garden of Eden is prompted by the serpent. Joseph is humiliated when God impregnates his wife, Mary, with Jesus. This betrayal leads Joseph into alcoholism and hatred for his ‘son.’ A woman complains of the difficulty of trying to sort out a patient’s mounting medical bills. Arthur Miller and Larry Block face off. Several prayers are recited.
