Product Description

Joe recalls his childhood when he was confined to a wheelchair, his father was dying and his mother was training a new clown for their family-managed circus. We listen to a play in which a lonely, cultivated woman seduces a man fresh from the country amidst chaos and bubonic plague. Scenes from the play are critiqued by a panel of academics. The concept of consciousness-lowering is examined. In his closing monologue, Joe recalls an operation on his club feet which coincided with his father’s death.
