Joe berates listeners for the stories he receives from them to use in his shows. Joe and Lila are invited to a dinner party. Lila is taking too long to get ready. An argument ensues about her always being late. Lila learns of the death of Professor Vogel and she’s been asked to attend the funeral. How Professor Vogel influenced Lila. “Oh, Reykjavík…” Joe’s tribute to Iceland. Packing to go to Iceland with Lila. As usual, they will be late to the airport because of her. Joe visits a Rabbi. Further tales from Joe’s travel logs: Digging at the pyramid of Amon-Ra to unearth a buried cemetery; Joe at a jazz club observing the people. Arriving in Reykjavík and attend Professor Vogel’s funeral. Ode to water.
