Joe dreams of being swallowed by a whale which quickly escalates into a fantastical tale of a community living inside. Joe wonders if he is simply a character in a novel that no one reads. List of different ways people and animals die. Recalls the funeral of Joe’s best friend, Joe’s eulogy.
