Product Description
Joe recalls his childhood when he was confined to a wheelchair, his father was dying and his mother was training a new clown for their family-managed circus. We listen to a play in which a lonely, cultivated woman seduces a man fresh from the country amidst chaos and bubonic plague. Scenes from the play are critiqued by a panel of academics. In his closing monologue, Joe recalls an operation on his club feet which coincided with his father’s death.

[Traversing back through my favorite JF shows, 1 of 1]. This episode has particularly well-done segments. (a) Two porn stars discuss –in an interview format –how they wound up in porn. Droll. (b) Next –very evocative –a man and a woman meet ‘in a city ravaged by plague’. Flirtation builds without suffering any ill effects of the corruption around them, but they are periodically beset by meddlesome lunatics. Laugh-out-loud altercations.
